George Saunders wins Man Booker Prize

The Man Booker Prize for fiction has been awarded to George Saunders for his debut novel Lincoln in the Bardo.

Chair of judges, Lola Young, described it as “as extraordinary piece of work.”

“The challenge is actually part of its uniqueness. It is almost saying, ‘I dare you to engage with this kind of story, in this kind of way.’ It is incredibly rewarding.”
