Come and meet two authors from different countries.

Nicolas Fargues is an award-winning French author who is currently the Laureate in Residence at Randell Cottage. He’s published ten books, one of which, ‘Au pays du p’tit’ (In the land of the lil’) was nominated for the prestigious Goncourt Prize. His latest book, ‘I Was Behind You’, has been translated into 15 different languages.

Thom Conroy is a Senior Lecturer in Creative Writing at Massey University. His first novel, The Naturalist, was a best-seller in New Zealand. His fiction has been recognized by Best American Short Stories 2012 and has won various other awards, including the Katherine Ann Porter Prize in Fiction and the Sunday Star-Times Short Fiction Competition. His second novel, ‘The Salted Air’, is due out on the 3rd June.

France Grenaudier-Klijn moderates this talk. There will be drinks and nibbles provided.
